What is there to say, but “Keep ’em coming!”? 🙂
My brother-in-law is the family mixologist crafting scratch cocktails using only the freshest ingredients. While Keith manned the bar, I grilled up the garnishes. This is what happens when my one of my favorite slider recipes (made with beef instead if turkey) and my Cajun Shrimp Skewers collide in a nice big Bloody Mary!
Perfect New Year's Day Bloody Mary

Ingredients
- 2 ounces tomato juice
- 2 ounces Clamato
- 2 ounces vodka
- ½ ounce lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon freshly grated horseradish
- 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 2 to 4 dashes Tabasco
- 3 tablespoons Montreal Steak seasoning
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- Lemon wedges, for rimming glass
- Ice

- Garnishes (optional):
- Celery stalk with leaves
- Cooked bacon slices
- Cheeseburger sliders
- Andouille Sausage
- Pickled Okra
- Lemon wheels
- Blistered jalapenos
Instructions
- In a mixing glass, stir together the tomato juice, Clamato, vodka, lemon juice, horseradish, Worcester shire sauce and hot sauce; set aside. Mix together the Montreal seasoning and the smoked paprika on a small plate. Run the lemon wedge along the ridge of a highball glass and dip the rim of the glass in the seasoning mix. Fill the glass with ice, pour in the Bloody Mary and garnish away!
